Mentorship matters because girls need more than inspiration. They need real women who will show up, share honestly, and remind them of who they are becoming. At Girls Lead Change, mentors help Black girls grow in confidence, leadership, and possibility.

Our mentors are women from different walks of life who believe in giving back and investing in the future of our communities. Some support a girl for a moment. Others walk with her over time. What matters is the willingness to show up with care, consistency, and encouragement.

You do not need endless free time. You do not need to be perfect. You do need to care, to be reliable, and to believe that pouring into one girl can change far more than one life.
